Very very few -- perhaps only our great translators plus those teaching courses at universities -- a guess would be in the low hundreds. James Allen is the one who comes immediately to mind, along with Collier and Manley.

You'd have to add the caveat of "which part of Egyptian history are we talking about" because the language varied over time.
