Why Do So Many People Still Think Aliens Built the Pyramids?
I think the answer is two fold. Primarily people see pictures and hear descriptions of these and simply can't believe the official explanations. I remember as a young child seeing a picture of the pyramid and told it was dragged up ramps and could hardly imagine the vast toil and blood sweat and tears. But I had no reference, no experience with moving massive weights and working with others to a common goal. I had no experience with coordinating large projects or even comprehending the immensity of the structure from a mere photograph. I didn't know critical details like cladding, the underlying stepped structure, or it's exactness.
People with experience and knowledge are much more likely to have a knee jerk reaction to dismiss mainstream beliefs.
Secondarily, and ironically, education has failed. More and more people accept more and more crackpot ideas on less and less evidence. They are more susceptible to propaganda and endless repetition of any idea.
Until such time as actual evidence for how they were built is released from Egypt I would expect it to get worse instead of better. people are becoming inured to "they mustta used ramps". At least this guy suggests pulleys were involved but somehow I suspect he is picturing "proto-pulleys" rather than what we call "pulleys".

Man fears the pyramid, time fears man.
