I searched around for older postings about Sirius in relation to the calendar or Dendera and found the following most interesting:
This is a great one! Robert Bauval on his red bike "Satis", that's more for folklore and celebration

Robert's posting about this paper:
On the Orientation of Ancient Egyptian Temples: (1) Upper Egypt and Lower Nubia

That paper is about a resarch analyzing the orientation of 115 temples. There is definitively a clustering visible around the ESE direction where Sirius is rising for the first time each year, that's 108° from N or 18° from E. PDF page 18 is discussing the Sirius alignment for the Hathor temple which is clearly defined.
Here the best matches around 18°:
Hathor, Dendera 18
Isis, Dendera 18
Mut, Karnak 18
Ramesses III 19.5
Thoth, Dakka 20.5
Metnuemhat, El ASsasif 21
But there are many more. PDF page 9 shows a graphical overview of all orientations indicating the clustering.
