This might be off topic a bit but it does provide great insight into the intended function of the pyramid. Just as a raindrop forms under the proper conditions around a tiny seed so too does the king enter a person's mind when they see the pyramid or his star. By knowing about Khufu he is brought to life every time he is remembered for ever and ever. "He is the pyramid, he protects". And to build this pyramid they chose to do much of the physical work inside necessitating the construction of serket's air siphon called the "nn.twi"

No evidence exists that these were not airshafts that were necessary to the construction of the pyramid just like ALL the infrastructure still in ruins around the pyramid. Why did they say that Khufu is like the formation of rain and why does this literal meaning coincide with the cultural context? It is simply illogical to dismiss all the physical characteristics of the pyramid, its surrounding, and the culture as evidence only of magic and religion. Sometimes an air shaft is just an airshaft and has nothing to do with beliefs of a culture and everything to do with the "beliefs" of the builder.

Maybe ideas coalesce no matter how ones arrives at them or which way the wind blows.
