As remarkably ill suited and inefficient as this machine would be for Stonehenge it is even worse for building pyramids. Even if it could be made to work for transporting such heavy loads which is improbable due to needing to support the entire weight on ball bearings, it simply requires far more work than simply dragging the stones on sledges. On hills and ramps it requires significant work to rotate the load to the other foot. And then, of course, there is the extreme width requiring wide roads and wider ramps.
It seems nobody in the media is capable of critical thinking or using a simple search engine any longer. Anything on Wiki is taken as gospel and they believe their readers are all idiots. I may not always agree with Colavito but I certainly share is surprise at such horrid reporting.
