Quite ingenious geometry:
Draw a rectangle 111.5 palms x 48.5 palms with a north-south axis of 111.5 palms and an east-west axis of 48.5 palms inside the floor area.
The axes divide the floor into 4 equal areas such that the axes divide the perimeter of 320 palms into 4 sections of 80 palms.
The perimeter is equal to 8 x 40 palms (compared to 8 x 1460 palms for the base of the Red Pyramid)
mark Point 'PN' on the north-south axis at 40 palms from the North wall
Draw NE and NW diagonals from 'PN'.
mark Point 'PS' on the north-south axis at 40 palms from the South Wall
Draw SE and SW diagonals from 'PS'
The four diagonals intersect the perimeter at 15.75 palms from the ends of the chamber.
Width of chamber is 2 x [24 plus 1/4 cubits]
The 2 axes and 2 diagonals divide the chamber into eight sections of 40 palms (15.75 palms + 24.25 palms)
