The deplorable state of affairs with the survey reports is due to the fact that at present few people are concerned with the search for the truth; many of the researchers are looking for sensations (secret rooms with tons of treasures or ancient sacred knowledge), they drill doors in shafts, scan the Giza plateau for secret rooms under the Sphinx, cash in on the publication of books with delusional theories about ten thousand-year-old pyramids and alien gods, increasing the army of pyramidiots and turning archaeological research into a show. Only a small number of researchers are engaged in meticulous research, and the issue of the Khufu shafts is of interest to a handful of enthusiasts.
It seems to me that there is simply no exact data about the shafts, since they are of no interest to the general public. Modern research pursues other goals: grants are being worked out, some research papers are written upon request to support the views proposed by the grantor, and everyone is satisfied with this state of things.
This is a general degradation of modern science, due to the degradation of society, and this process will continue as long as money is more desirable than pure knowledge.

Returning to our topic, I want to inform you that I received a response from Franck Monnier regarding the 3-D model of the Khufu pyramid. Unfortunately for us, Franck answers that the data of the photogrammetric survey of the Khufu pyramid at his disposal are not as detailed as we would like and will not be able to help us in determining the course number on which the shaft outlets are located.

By the way, how do you explain the discrepancy between Gantenbrink's numerical data and his cyberdrawings?

On "The Findings" page [www.cheops.org], he writes: As we verified in 1992, the upper southern shaft emerges on the exterior at the 101st layer, the upper northern shaft at the 102nd layer. In this regard, Maragiolio and Rinaldi report incorrect values. (see Maragiolio and Rinaldi, "L'Architettura delle Pyramidi Menfite, Parte IV).
But on his cyberdrawings, the northern shaft outlet is located at the 103th course, and the southern outlet at the 102nd(?) course (could you attach screenshots of the cyber drawings for the outlets of both shafts in the next post?).

I cannot seriously consider Gantenbrink's report until the cause of the discrepancies in his data is established.
