I received some feedback from a highly respected academic that they felt my paper had several problems, including:
1. The core idea itself is very old and harks back to the ideas of Taylor and Piazzi Smyth;
2. The numbers as presented were very much skewed in favour of the design model; and
3. The presentation was confusing.
With this feedback, I have made significant changes to the paper:
1. Reduced the scope of the paper to to focus on just the Great Pyramid. This decision was made due to the lack of reliable data on other pyramids including the Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid, of which there are significant disagreements amongst scholars which need to resolve;
2. Extended the introduction to differentiate the design inspiration from Piazzi Smyth's divine inspiration;
3. Expanded the explanation of Babylonian Astronomy and the zig zag functions under investigation; and
4. Created a new section of arguments against the Saturn-based design theory to better balance the paper.
