In my books I show that the relative positions of the Giza pyramid apexes(or center base locations) was not dictated by the relative position of the Orion belt stars as Bauval postulated. His correlation yields a great degree of error. The central star/pyramid angle error is 4.35 degrees and the outer star/pyramid distance ratio error in regards to the central star/pyramid is 0.085. This distance ratio converts to a Giza ground divergence of 41 meters or 79 royal cubits!

In my first book I show that instead of considering the stars Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka to form the shape of the Giza pyramid positions we consider three mountains in Greece. In this case the error is a lot smaller.

In my second book I show that instead of considering the stars Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka to form the shape of the Giza pyramid positions we consider three mountains in the Sinai peninsula of modern Egypt. In this case the error is one again a lot smaller.

In my revision to this second book I show that we can form a similar to the other cases triangle using the positions of 3 mountain peaks of African Egypt - the land of the Pharaohs. We can form a distance ration(smaller than 1) that is very close to that of the Greek mountains. The angle error while being slightly larger that the other cases is still a lot smaller than the OCT case. What changes in this case is the reversal of the position of the mountain that corresponds to the Menkaure pyramid. This means that if the African mountains were used then the Menkaure pyramid would be designed to the West of the Khufu pyramid to Khafre pyramid apex axis(line). In reality it was erected to the East. This means that the African Egyptian mountain to pyramid mapping is not an exact one, it is a mirrored design.

Overall thus instead of identifying 3 stars that match the 3 pyramids o Egypt I have found a total of 9 mountain peaks in 3 continents that match the main Giza Pyramids(three independent mappings).
