What kind of an answer was that?
The frankest, friendliest and least controversial one I could think of. Obviously you think there is something more than simple safety and crowd control going on, so why not elaborate?
And since when is my responding to one of your posts taken as representing the entire field of Egyptology and all those disciplines that contribute to it?
The only rumours resultant from the recent scan findings (or to be more precise , lack of any significant, conclusive findings), have been from those who hold that there are sides to the study of the History of Egypt.
Every time a study of G1 doesn't yield clear results....the murmuring of those who would tear it down to find out how and why it was built grows a little louder.
Study the People Don. The valuable lessons to be learned are THERE.
