We're all so used now to working with electronic media that we can hardly remember any other way of doing things. But it wasn't always so ...
Supposing educational institutions introduced a requirement for all work to be submitted in hand-written form, on paper? Out of class, students might of course still copy from AI-generated scripts. But, in the exam-room, they wouldn't be able to.
And supposing such educational institutions could charge more for their courses, on the grounds that their students' final qualifications were more trustworthy?
