In the village where I used to live when I was growing up, we used to sing carols. (And it's still a tradition to watch the carols at Kings' on Christmas Eve).
I would have been grateful for some Santa Claus cereal this morning ... I went out to the garage where I'd (unwisely) left out a packet of porridge oats, and discovered all sorts of holes in it where the mice had been ...
I was reduced to Ryvitas for breakfast.
