On March 28, the American Research Center in Egypt
launched the Valley of the Queens and Western Wadis
on the Theban Mapping Project website.
Formerly, the website focused only on the Valley of
the Kings, providing excellent resources for researchers
and enthusiasts in the form of maps, plans, photographs,
and detailed information on each of the royal tombs in
the Valley of the Kings, and much more. Now, the same
has been done for the Valley of the Queens and Western
Wadis. Website visitors can virtually visit the 125
tombs of queens and other royal family members of
the New Kingdom, see their plans and photos, and
learn about the history of the tombs and their
conservation, and more
