What I was really after was the 1885 2nd edition - but that seems not to be available anywhere. (One would have to get a hard copy from a library).

There's also the Birdsall version: [www.ronaldbirdsall.com] But Birdsall says:

A highly abridged second edition, which summarized many of the tables into a few lines of text and omitted much of the technical work, appeared in early 1885.

So which is the edition mentioned right at the foot of this post - [www.maatforum.com] ?
