I listened to this a while back after having so many people remark privately to me that "something big was coming" along with what I've since dubbed "end time chatter". I find it very interesting to hear this because the individuals that have made these kind of statements have been very diverse, spanning differing levels of education, income, and religious belief (this kind of goes along with Jammer's 1 in 7 post). I do believe that the reason why this is happening is not so much that we are on the cusp of any potential apocalypse but that, with all the hype in regards to Mayans and 2012, the year has been basically plugged into society on a suconscious level. This would lead, I think, into a sort of apocalyptic thinking as McKenna, Sheldrake and Abraham are discussing in this trialogue. The more people talk about it, the more it may snowball. There's also the potential that this kind of apocalyptic thinking may have also added some fuel to existing fires to precipitate the level of protests around the world or even extremism.
Thought I'd share this interesting little trialogue: [
