Good question. If it were advanced... probably no way to prove it. My life is mostly digital nowadays - my photos, my books, my research are all online or on my computer. How long would that last? Heck, I can't even access my docs on old floppies now! Certainly unlikely anything of me will exist after a hundred years. Now add millions. We could have had entire civilisations come and go and be none the wiser!

only thing that truly endures is stone and even that has its limits.
