Yes. The Ptolemies built the temple. That's Cleopatra dressed as Hathor-Isis, with Caesarion as Horus (in the religious beliefs of this area at that time, Horus was the husband of Hathor.) There's several additional things to know here, the first of which being that Caesarion is shown as a pharaoh and wearing the Atef crown while Cleopatra wears the crown of queens combined with the dual feathers and the solar disc. She is standing behind him in the traditional position of the Great Royal Wife.

It's a religious-political statement.

Can you point out the places where Sirius is being shown prominently in this temple (or any other temple)?
