Please scroll down to ' World War II: 1939–45'
Then to the photo of the soldiers with steel nails in their boots, steel canteens, steel-action rifles, along with steel clips, barrels, and steel bayonets. Next, see this name: Kath Walker. Clinton Walker, that's got to be a giant coincidence, right? Pass the steel DNA machinery please.
I owe these Indigenous steel-user heroes a giant debt and it took a while for restitution to bypass the might-makes-right male run government and previous to that the male-dominant put'em where they belong in the woman's camp...who needs steel people of today.
When the Europeans showed up in Australia and took control, all that really changed was a transfer of male dominance with steel from male dominance with Dreamtime and rock.
Some, like Leonard Waters and Reg Saunders, realized that their world had gotten a lot smaller than it was during Dreamtime. Steel was in and rock was out.
Again, I owe Waters and his forsight in steel use...I owe Dreamtime advocates nothing...well, nothing but the vote won by the steel-using Aboriginal soldiers and steel companies they despise.
